APPEARANCE HEIGHT - 5'10" WEIGHT - 160 lbs Viol stands at almost six feet tall and has a lean frame. He has a pronounced brow with two long antennae and deep red eyes. He can always be found with a lazy smile on his face. His wardrobe mainly consists of an open jacket that leads down to his ankles and it has a hood that he has up when he goes off the lookout. Under that jacket, he has an eastern-style purple and golden gi with sturdy brown boots. Viol is a fan of jewelry, often wearing ruby earrings, golden bracelets, and a gold and ruby choker to accent his appearance. To bring his outfit together, he of course has the signature staff of the Earth's guardian. | ||||||||
PERSONALITY Viol is a young Namekian, but he has been shown to have wisdom beyond his years. He always has a positive, upbeat personality on the surface. He believes that he must be positive, as many look to him for protection and leadership. He once allowed himself to be more immature around his father, but since he is long dead, Viol has settled in to the role of the responsible guardian, allowing himself only fleeting moments of immaturity. In those moments, he might retire to his chambers to play his game system, or throw a ball around the lookout and reminisce about the times he would play with his father. Immature though he can be, Viol takes his job as Kami very seriously, wanting to interact and foster his world's growth and safety as much as possible. He can often be seen down on Earth, mingling with the people anonymously or partaking in his one weakness; arcade games. When a force threatens Earth, Viol is not likely to destroy it completely and utterly if the threat comes from an Earthling. However, if the threat is not of his world, they are fair game. When it comes to foreigners, Viol tolerates no threat to the safety of his world. In these cases, he can become quite serious. Angry, even. If the threat is Earthling, however, he more comes across as disappointed. Like a father with a misbehaving child. All his time on the lookout has led to Viol becoming very lonely. Even though he interacts with the people of his planet, he doesn't make friends. | ||||||||
HISTORY Viol was born on Kami's lookout a short seven years ago to the former Kami, Oveiln. Viol's father had been the Earth's guardian for hundreds of years, but as he felt his life reaching its end, he felt it was time to give birth to a successor. Thus came the rise of Viol. For the first three years of his life, he never set foot outside the lookout. His father trained him in the basics of ki control, which he mastered very quickly, as well as the ins and outs of being the god of Earth. His father was more of a "hands off" Kami, letting most issues play themselves out without "divine intervention." As Viol felt all the suffering down below, he swore that he would do his best to make the world better, as his father told him a guardian should do. Six years after Viol's birth, his father died of natural causes. The young Namekian took his father's death harshly. For the first six months of his job, he couldn't even bring himself to create new Dragon Balls since his father's death rendered the current ones inert and unusable. After his long mourning period, he got back to work, his goal to make the world a better place driving him. He began by reactivating the Dragon Balls, his father having taught him the magic required, passed down from generation to generation through his ancestors. He then took up his father's staff and began his work. Over the past six months, Viol has been trying to find his way. He has a goal, but he has been having trouble finding the means to achieve it. He came to the realization recently that Earth's best hope for salvation lies in its people. He would act as a loving father to them, a different strategy than his father. Viol would interact directly with Earth's people, observing and guiding them to become the great civilization he knows they can be. His plan is simple; empower the people of Earth to protect themselves, teach them right from wrong, and defend them from things that they could not defend themselves from. He began to go down to Earth directly after that, searching for great warriors that he could empower to become the Earth's defenders, those who could assist him in defending the planet. | ||||||||
SPECIALIZATIONS: Mystical Arts Skill Rank: C Skill Level Description: Viol has great skill in the magical arts of the Dragon Clan. Being the Kami of Earth, he created the Dragon Balls with this ability. On top of creating Dragon Balls, he can also heal a fighter of their wounds and materialize mundane objects like clothes and nonmagical weapons out of thin air. STRENGTH: SKILL RANK: E SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Viol isn't the strongest of individuals. He can lift just as much as the average adult, if not a little more. While he has never really tested the limits of his strength, he can lift about one hundred pounds. SPEED: SKILL RANK: C SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Viol's speed is one of his greatest assets. While he wasn't naturally strong, his father learned quickly when he tried to chase the boy down after he had misbehaved that he had a natural quickness to him. As such, he decided to foster that ability. Viol can run as fast as a bullet at his top speed. ENDURANCE: SKILL RANK: D SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Viol's assets aren't exactly physical. As such, he has not developed much of an endurance beyond what is expected of his people. In a one-on-one fight, he has to avoid his opponent with his great speed, hoping that is enough. Bullets won't do anything to him, but anyone with superhuman strength that can catch him would find Viol rather easy to take down if they can get past his natural Namekian durability. ENERGY: SKILL RANK: C SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Viol has a great innate ability to control his ki and use it to its maximum potential. Sensing energy and manipulating his own is child's play to him. He is an incredibly dangerous opponent at a distance, and so he must be engaged close up to stand the best chance. INTELLIGENCE: SKILL RANK: D SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Viol is incredibly smart, even for a Namekian. He is good with puzzles and can retain information about as well as a college graduate. He has taken the time to learn a little bit about the technology of Earth, and so can use slightly advanced tech. | ||||||||

From a young age, he always found it easy to utilize his ki in the most effective way possible. Sense Ki With his enhanced ki control comes the ability to sense the ki of living things. With focus, Viol can sense the ebb and flow of energy on the planet. With this ability, he can seek out specific people whose energy he is familiar with, measure an organism's level of power, and even detect the good or evil in a specific being's heart. Worldwide Telepathy Viol's father being the former Kami, he thought it important to teach his son telepathy so that he can communicate with the people of Earth when he needs to. If Viol can sense someone's energy, he can establish a telepathic link with them. He can use this link to communicate telepathically. Since he must be able to sense someone's energy for this to work, he can only communicate with those on the planet. | ||||||||
